sir , my daughter who is carrying her first child bought an ac from viveks purasaiwalkam chennai on 8.5.2011 . on installation it was found that the outdoor unit was broken both whirlpool and viveks have been playing with her ever since even to the extent of having a joke or cutting off the line when contacted. their corporate office has not been able to get them to replace the unit till date. she is sufferinf in the heat . though we maDE SEVERAL TRIPS TO THE SHOP nothing has been done..

you should also register a complaint with whirlpool if you have not done so already. even if that doesn't work you will need to file a complaint against them in the consumer court seeking adequate compensation including for lawyer and court fees and all the pain that your daughter has been going thru.
