Subject: Garnishee Order
Message: Please be so kind as to contact me regarding a pair of shoes purchased by a caretaker at our school. He understood that he was purchasing a pair of dockside shoes. However, on receipt of the shoes he discovered they were dockride shoes. He was billed R2345. He phoned the rep. in order to return the shoes. She never returned to collect the shoes. My caretaker has never worn the shoes. A firm of lawyers has now delivered a garnishee order to deduct R400 per month to cover the cost of the shoes and legal fees. Surely this is not fair on the consumer. Please get someone to contact me with regards to the above.

  1. you can bring to the notice of original company (dockside) to take action against the fake product company who is violating the original trademark and fooling consumers.

you can build a case on similar lines against the garnishee order sent to the caretaker.

you may also consult your local consumer cell or consumer attorney for any further advice.
