Submitted By (Submission ID): ravi teja from India (139247574) Subject: GPA Issues Description: Sir My father purchased a land from one person through his registered GPA who transferred in his fathers name on notarized GPA which was irrevocable and had permission to do so in the original registered gpa.but since we constructed boundary wall and its for past 17yrs. since the 2 yrs one person got gpa from the orignal owner and trying to sell of our land saying that our sale is not valid. Pls advice. This is precisely the risk of holding the property on GPA. You should have done the registry.
ReplyDeleteThe original owner intention is to create a dispute on the property and extract money from you for an amicable settlement.
In this situation, as a safeguard, get the registry done in your name immediately.
You must be having the registered GPA of the original owner. Keep that safely. That is a very imp. document in the whole chain.
