Submitted By (Submission ID): Ranga Rajan from India (70157071) Subject: Deactivation of phone 0911279486 Vodafone Description: I was abroad from 08Nov \'11 till 28Mar \'12.After charging the phone found no signal, Contacted customer care.Advised to contact service centre at NDSE or Ansal plaza with ID proof and a photograph.Staff most unhelpful even supervisor turned down request for reactivation inspite of my willingness to pay reactivation charges although I had still balance in my prepaid . Sent mail to Nodal on 29Mar and auto ack recd.No docket no.tried calling nodal regrettably no response.Called customer service again and advised again to visit servive centre.Went to Ansal Plaza .No luck. requested for direct nos of nodal/Appellate.Staff not willing.Sent a mail to Appellate on 03Apr.Auto ack recd & no docket no.Tried calling appellate as per the published No .Bell rings then \"HAPPY TO HELP\" then a recorded msg \"dial the ext \" or wait for the operator, Wait till 20mts ,no response. Tried a number of times.same result.Phone connection taken in 2000 and subsequently for life time validity.Now its 17days and no response from them.While spouse connection still works (same Vodafone) who was also with me during this period.Service pathetic. Is it possible to resolve this matter as all my contacts including Banks etc have this no registered with them. Appreciate your response.
