Subject: Pathetic customer support and no escalation management

DealsandYou.com has some great deals and I have used their services earlier. However, I had never ordered any products from them and limited myself to using discount coupons from them.
This time I saw a product I liked and ordered it through order no. 100024218 after paying Rs. 5999 through my credit card on 5/14/2011.
It is 6/16/2011 today and still product not delivered. I have been following up since May end and was being told that it takes 21 days to deliver. Its more than a month now.
I have been calling their support telephone number and writing them mails to support@dealsandyou.com without any resolution.
There has been no other escalation email provided and I have been searching for email ids of individuals from this company on the net and none seems to exist.
For people who go for deals through this site, let me recommend that do not order products through them. They are only good as long as it involves printing coupons.

provide them a final 10days written notice through registered post to resond to your greivance. if you do not hear from them drag them to consumer court and seek adequate compensation including all expenses incurred in the process such as court and lawyer fees etc.

ReplyDeleteI contacted the CEO of the company - Gaurav Kachru - through LinkedIn and was able to resolve the issue today.
Given him feedback on the lacuna in the support team.
Lets hope they are able to pull their act together for future transactions.
