Subject: Refundable deposit not payed by Spice-Idea on account closure
Description:
I had been using spice service for more than 4 years and had converted it from pre-paid to post-paid. While doing so, I have paid 300/- as conversion charges to spice provider by cash. I took a decision to close this number this year by February last week. By doing so, I am entitled to get my security deposit of 300/- back. I have shown them the original proof of document which states that during account closure i can submit this receipt and get my money back.However, they took the original copy saying their head office will investigate and then return my money within 45 working days. After 3 months I did not receive any cheque for the same nor has anybody called home for verification. When thye are very much aware that post-paid connection will not be given unless a customer pays security deposit (in my case, conversion charges) why are they taking so much time and making me go here and there to get the refundable deposit clearly mentioned in the original receipt given to them.

raise it to the highest level possible and if that doesn't work you can drag them to consumer court. you may also callup 1-800-11-4000 to register your grievance.
