New Complaint Registered

Complaint No. 48075180 against Reliance GSM registered by Raghav Maheshwary dated 22 April 2011

Subject: Disconnection without intimation. Now not reactivating it!!
Description:
I am a new subscriber to Reliance GSM. I have shifted from Vodafone to Reliance GSM in the month of March 2011, my number is 9820171737. While transfering, i have submitted all the relevant documents required and i have also received my first bill for March 2011 which i have already paid.

Suddenly on 14th April, 2011 my number got disconnected. On inquiring, i was told that the verification has failed and hence my number has got disconnected. I was asked to re-submit my documents, which i did on 15th April 2011 and i was promised that my connection will be restored by 16th April 2011 evening.

Today is the 22nd of April, 2011 and till date my connection has not been restored. Since 14th April 2011, i have been visiting Reliance Juhu Web World and Santacruz Web World on a daily basis, and i am sent back with a reassurance that my connection will be restored within 24 hours.

  1. you can file a complaint at national consumer helpline no. 1-800-11-4000. you may also register a complaint with local consumer court with a request for adequate compensation even after your connection has been restored. keep all necessary documents in place which will assist you to fight your case. good luck.

    we will also include this in our periodic reporting of consumer issues to relevant authorities.
