Submitted By (Submission ID): Lakshmi Kutty from India (79623532) Subject: Complaint against online website Juvalia & You Description: I had placed an order for jewellery around INR 3100/ from the online website Juvalia & You on June 29, 2012. I paid the payment through credit card and was assured delivery within 7 days. I did not receive any confirmation email on my order and thus I emailed through their website on July 1 and asked them to send me the order confirmation number to track status of my order. The next day I received an email from them which gave details of my order number. I kept on checking status of my order which said 'in process' and on July 19 I emailed them again to let me know exact status. I got a response which only said "Your cases has been reported to concern department, request you to please give us some time so that we can provide you the status". I kept on calling and emailing them constantly but did not get any clear response. A week later I receive a call from the customer support cell saying that one of the products I had ordered was not available and thus it would take another week for the order processing. I was completely fed up with all the follow up and was very irritiated with the feedback. I thus asked them to cancel my order and wrote an email stating the same with a request to refund the money through a cheque in my name. Initially they were not ready to refund and on July 30 I received an email saying that "we would like to inform you that we are initiating the process of refunding. it will take arround 7 working days to refund the same" Today is August 21 and till date I have not received my payment. I will like to penalize the company for consumer harassment, poor feedback, mismanagement and fradulent claims of neither returning the money nor delivering the product. I request your help in resolving this case and getting me compensation for the harassment from the past 2 months.
